Occupational Therapist

Frank Kakuru is an enthusiastic pediatric Occupational Therapist with 3.5 years of experience in rehabilitation of pediatric patients with ASD, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders and learning difficulties. Frank is registered with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC)-Uganda. He is proficient in-patient assessment, treatment plan, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He is experienced in developing personalized treatment plans, patient evaluation, therapeutic techniques, using adaptive equipment and patient education to optimize functional outcome and enhance quality of life. Abdul has extensive expertise in managing and developing institutions that serve People of Determination, focusing on enhancing service quality and implementing the highest professional standards in the field.

As a licensed therapist by the Board and the Dubai Health Authority, Abdul combines his administrative and public relations experience to build strong partnerships and deliver high-quality services to children with determination and those with autism spectrum disorder.

He believes that supporting and empowering People of Determination and their families is a priceless mission.

Mohamed Mostafa Hussein

As a mother of two, Sara transitioned into marketing to help other parents see what truly matters: how Sanad supports their children, their journeys, and their trust. Mostafa Shams brings over 8 years of experience teaching Physical Education and more than 10 years of sports coaching to his role at Sanad Village. With a passion for inclusive, active learning, he designs engaging sessions that build motor skills, teamwork, and confidence in students of all abilities.

His sports specialties include football and swimming, and he is certified by the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) to coach novice-level swimmers. Whether he’s leading drills on the field or guiding swimming sessions in the pool, Mostafa combines technical knowledge with high energy and positive reinforcement to make movement fun and accessible.

Arunachalam Madhamani is a skilled Speech & Language Therapist with 8 years of experience supporting individuals across a range of developmental and communication needs. Tasmiyah is certified in PROMPT, DIR Floortime, SOS Approach to Feeding, ADOS-2, ELKLAN, RAVE-O Literacy, Pediatric Dysphagia, and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). Her expertise is complemented by her deep passion for parent coaching and empowering caregivers to support their child’s progress both in and out of the therapy room.

With a background in healthcare management and over three years of experience in family relations, she works closely with parents to ensure they feel supported, understood, and involved throughout their child’s early developmental journey.

Known for her calm and empathetic nature, Yara acts as a bridge between families and the multidisciplinary team—helping to answer questions, coordinate services, and provide reassurance during what can often be a vulnerable time for parents. Her role is rooted in compassion, communication, and trust-building.

Fun fact: When she’s not guiding families at Sanad, Yara finds freedom in horseback riding and peace by the sea—two things that reflect her grounded and graceful personality.

Leah Punzalan

Admissions Coordinator

Leah Punzalan is the first friendly face many families meet at Sanad Village. As Admissions Coordinator, she plays a key role in welcoming new families and guiding them through every step of the admissions process with care, efficiency, and heart.

With over 12 years of experience in customer service and family-facing roles, Leah ensures that inquiries are handled promptly, visits are meaningful, and every parent feels heard. Her organizational skills, calm demeanor, and warm approach make her a trusted point of contact for both new and returning families.

Fun fact: Leah finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—she’s happiest when singing her favorite songs while cooking up something delicious in the kitchen.

Radwa Gharib

Family Relations Supervisor

BA in German Linguistics, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)

Radwa Gharib has been part of Sanad Village since its very beginning, proudly supporting families for over five years. As Family Relations Supervisor, she plays a vital role in guiding parents throughout their child’s journey—from first contact to ongoing collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

With a background in German Linguistics and certification as a Human Resources Professional, Radwa blends structure, empathy, and clear communication. She ensures that every family feels understood, informed, and supported as they navigate their child’s individualized path at Sanad.

Fun fact: Radwa’s happy place is by the sea with a great movie waiting for her at home. She also finds calm and clarity in organizing spaces—nothing beats the satisfaction of a tidy home and a clear mind.

Muhammad Azam

Muhammad Azam Tariq

Physiotherapy Supervisor

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), DHA Licensed

Muhammad Azam Tariq is a DHA-licensed Physiotherapist with over 14 years of combined experience in clinical physiotherapy and fitness training. Holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, he specializes in orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports injury, neurological, post-operative, cardio-respiratory, and pediatric rehabilitation, with clinical experience spanning both Pakistan and the UAE.

At Sanad Village, Mr. Azam serves as the Physiotherapy Supervisor, working closely with occupational and speech therapists in a collaborative, multidisciplinary model. His approach blends cutting-edge physiotherapy techniques with personalized care plans that focus on each child’s developmental goals. He is highly experienced in a wide range of electrotherapy modalities including TENS, EMS, IFC, ultrasound therapy, shockwave therapy, thermotherapy, and cryotherapy.

Mr. Azam’s credentials include certifications in Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and the Science of Exercise (University of Colorado Boulder), as well as ongoing Basic Life Support certification. His research on medial elbow pain in taxi drivers was recognized and published by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), underscoring his commitment to evidence-based practice.

Fun fact: When he’s not treating sports injuries or fine-tuning postures, you’ll find him at the gym—or convincing someone else to join him! A fitness enthusiast and body transformation expert, he brings as much energy to a workout as he does to the clinic.

Mahmoud A. Mahmoud

Regional Clinical Director

Masters in Education, International Behaviour Analyst, Qualified Behaviour Analyst, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, Community Development Authority Licensed Behaviour Analyst, Certified in Organizational Behavior Management.

With over 19 years of experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Special & Inclusive Education, Mahmoud A. Mahmoud brings global expertise and deep dedication to transforming the lives of individuals of determination. At Sanad Village, he oversees the entire ABA program—providing strategic direction, clinical oversight, and hands-on mentorship for both students and staff involved in behavior therapy.

Mahmoud has trained and supervised more than 200 behavior analysts and participated as a guest speaker in over 100 international scientific forums. He has co-chaired and chaired regional ABA conferences—including independently chairing a major ABA conference in 2024. He is a founding member of the Behavior Analysts Arabic Board and formerly represented Africa on the QABA Board’s International Standards Committee (2019–2024). His work has also contributed to Dubai’s 2027 vision for facilitated tourism.

He holds certifications in ADOS-2, Arabic Sign Language (Level 2), CALM-P and CALM-V protocols, and Basic Life Support.

Fun fact: When he’s not leading teams or speaking at conferences, you’ll likely find Mahmoud diving into the deep blue—literally. He’s an Advanced Open Water Diver who swaps data charts for coral reefs whenever he gets the chance.

Leysana Zarmukhambetova

Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Auditing. Leysana Zarmukhambetova is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sanad Village—and a proud mother of two. Her journey into the world of special needs support began as a parent navigating the challenges of finding the right care and therapies for her son, Omar, who was diagnosed at a young age.

After years of moving from one center to another, the idea for Sanad was born out of a deeply personal need and a family decision—to create a centralized, supportive hub where all services could exist under one roof. That vision became Sanad Village: a place where families no longer feel alone in their search for high-quality, integrated support.

With a professional background in accounting, financial analysis, and auditing, Leysana brings both business acumen and lived experience to her role. She oversees day-to-day operations, ensures alignment between clinical care and family experience, and is often the first to welcome new families into the Sanad community with empathy and understanding.

Fun fact: Her son was the very first student enrolled at Sanad. She has always believed that with kindness and faith, miracles are possible.
