Transportation
- Doctor's approval required for bus eligibility for life-threatening conditions (e.g., epilepsy, diabetes)
- Updated medical reports needed for clearance
- Bus nanny cannot give medications (DHA regulations)
- Only a DHA professional or parent/guardian can administer medications
In case of behavioural issues or non-compliance while a student is on the bus, Sanad Village may temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue the bus service and inform you accordingly. On the first day, parents are required to drop off their children themselves, and the bus will return them home. During extreme weather conditions, if the bus service is suspended, parents must arrange transportation for their children, and no refund will be issued. The bus will drop off students at the designated area. For more detailed information regarding our transportation policy
Meals
Parents/legal guardians are encouraged to send healthy, balanced meals from home stored in an insulated food jar/lunch box to keep it warm (or cold) and safe to eat. Sanad staff are not allowed to heat up the students’ food in the microwave for safety and quality purposes.
Uniform
Uniforms are mandatory for all Sanad Village students. The unified appearance aims to provide a sense of equality and togetherness amongst all students similar to a mainstream school setting. Parents will have the opportunity to select the size and the quantity of uniform sets needed
Medical Support and Medicine Administration
Sanad Village’s medical department handles daily medical needs and emergencies but doesn’t provide doctor consultations or prescriptions. Medications must be submitted with a prescription in original packaging and stored in the medical department.
Body checks are conducted twice daily (with parental consent) to monitor for bruises, scars, or hygiene issues. Parents will be informed if any marks are found on their child.
