Frank Kakuru

Occupational Therapist

Frank Kakuru is an enthusiastic pediatric Occupational Therapist with 3.5 years of experience in rehabilitation of pediatric patients with ASD, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders and learning difficulties. Frank is registered with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC)-Uganda. He is proficient in-patient assessment, treatment plan, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He is experienced in developing personalized treatment plans, patient evaluation, therapeutic techniques, using adaptive equipment and patient education to optimize functional outcome and enhance quality of life. Additionally, Frank has attended seminars and trainings in sensory integration education, wheelchair seating and position, Inclusion policies, Child protection and safeguarding policies, psychological management of stress and first aid training. Abdul has acquired over 20 years of experience in teaching, training, and rehabilitating People of Determination in the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Abdul has extensive expertise in managing and developing institutions that serve People of Determination, focusing on enhancing service quality and implementing the highest professional standards in the field.

As a licensed therapist by the Board and the Dubai Health Authority, Abdul combines his administrative and public relations experience to build strong partnerships and deliver high-quality services to children with determination and those with autism spectrum disorder.

He believes that supporting and empowering People of Determination and their families is a priceless mission.

Mohamed Mostafa Hussein

Mohamed Mostafa Hussein is a Physical Education Specialist and Sports Rehabilitation Coach with over 15 years of experience in adaptive sports, physical rehabilitation, and inclusive training for People of Determination.

Mohamed’s expertise spans aquatic and physical rehabilitation, Special Olympics team development, injury prevention, and performance planning for athletes with disabilities. At Sanad, he designs and oversees individualized and adapted physical education and sports and ensures safe, high-quality, and measurable outcomes for every student. He has coached multiple medal-winning Special Olympics teams, contributed to major national and continental events, and is widely recognized for his role in advancing inclusive sports.

As a mother of two, Sara transitioned into marketing to help other parents see what truly matters: how Sanad supports their children, their journeys, and their trust. She focuses on capturing real moments from daily life at Sanad and turning them into meaningful content that reflects the quality of services and the heart of the community.

Sara works closely with admissions and internal teams to align awareness efforts with family needs, strengthen engagement, and ensure consistent, impactful communication. Mostafa Shams

Physical Education Teacher

Mostafa Shams brings over 8 years of experience teaching Physical Education and more than 10 years of sports coaching to his role at Sanad Village. With a passion for inclusive, active learning, he designs engaging sessions that build motor skills, teamwork, and confidence in students of all abilities.

His sports specialties include football and swimming, and he is certified by the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) to coach novice-level swimmers. Whether he’s leading drills on the field or guiding swimming sessions in the pool, Mostafa combines technical knowledge with high energy and positive reinforcement to make movement fun and accessible.

He works closely with therapy and education teams to adapt activities that meet each student’s developmental goals, encouraging physical wellbeing as a key part of every learner’s journey.

Blessing Peter Gobvu brings rhythm, creativity, and heart to Sanad Village as our dedicated Music Teacher. With over 10 years of teaching experience and a specialized background in Early Childhood Development and Music Education from the University of Zimbabwe, Blessing transforms each lesson into a vibrant exploration of sound, expression, and connection.

As a multi-instrumentalist, he is skilled in guitar, piano, violin, xylophone, drums, marimba, and mbira—introducing students to a rich variety of musical traditions from around the world. His fluency in English and Shona further helps him connect with students from diverse backgrounds, making his lessons both inclusive and engaging.

Blessing’s expertise in Ethnomusicology, Organology, and Music Therapy allows him to craft therapeutic musical experiences that support focus, coordination, emotional expression, and communication. Hoyam Mohamed

Nurse

Registered Nurse, Certified in CPR and First Aid.

Hoyam Mohamed is Sanad Village’s dedicated School Nurse, bringing over 7 years of experience in both pediatric and adult emergency care. Her calm and steady presence ensures that students, staff, and families feel supported and safe throughout the school day.

Trained in both CPR and First Aid, Hoyam is equipped to respond to health concerns and emergencies with professionalism and compassion. Dr. Mohamed Elmontasir Shamseldin

Medical Director

Dr. Mohamed Elmontasir Shamseldin is a highly skilled General Practitioner with years of experience in general medicine, emergency care, pediatrics, ENT, and family-centered healthcare. At Sanad Village, he plays a vital role in overseeing the medical wellbeing of all students and staff—ensuring a safe, responsive, and supportive environment in collaboration with the therapy and education teams.

Athifa is certified at Level 3 in PFA-SBT and serves as an ASDAN Coordinator. She has developed and implemented customized vocational assessment tools in areas such as culinary arts, office skills, cafeteria operations, and store management—helping students build real-world skills and workplace confidence.

She has worked across both school and clinic settings, applying international, evidence-based practices tailored to each child’s strengths. Nalini is also certified in DIR Floortime, Makaton, TEACCH, BLS, and Cortical Vision Impairment. Arunachalam Madhamani

Speech & Language Therapist

Arunachalam Madhamani is a skilled Speech & Language Therapist with 8 years of experience supporting individuals across a range of developmental and communication needs. His expertise includes working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, and feeding challenges.

Tasmiyah Sacoor leads Sanad Village’s Speech & Language Therapy team with over eight years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in evidence-based, family-centered care. She specializes in a wide range of communication and feeding challenges including speech sound and motor speech disorders, language delays, dysphagia, picky eating, fluency disorders, and social communication difficulties.

Tasmiyah is certified in PROMPT, DIR Floortime, SOS Approach to Feeding, ADOS-2, ELKLAN, RAVE-O Literacy, Pediatric Dysphagia, and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). Her expertise is complemented by her deep passion for parent coaching and empowering caregivers to support their child’s progress both in and out of the therapy room.

As a supervisor, she guides her team with compassion and clarity—ensuring that every child receives individualized support tailored to their needs.

Muhammad Azam

Muhammad Azam Tariq

Physiotherapy Supervisor

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), DHA Licensed

Muhammad Azam Tariq is a DHA-licensed Physiotherapist with over 14 years of combined experience in clinical physiotherapy and fitness training. Holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, he specializes in orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports injury, neurological, post-operative, cardio-respiratory, and pediatric rehabilitation, with clinical experience spanning both Pakistan and the UAE.

At Sanad Village, Mr. Azam serves as the Physiotherapy Supervisor, working closely with occupational and speech therapists in a collaborative, multidisciplinary model. His approach blends cutting-edge physiotherapy techniques with personalized care plans that focus on each child’s developmental goals. He is highly experienced in a wide range of electrotherapy modalities including TENS, EMS, IFC, ultrasound therapy, shockwave therapy, thermotherapy, and cryotherapy.

Mr. Azam’s credentials include certifications in Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and the Science of Exercise (University of Colorado Boulder), as well as ongoing Basic Life Support certification. His research on medial elbow pain in taxi drivers was recognized and published by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), underscoring his commitment to evidence-based practice.

Mahmoud A. Mahmoud

Regional Clinical Director

Masters in Education, International Behaviour Analyst, Qualified Behaviour Analyst, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, Community Development Authority Licensed Behaviour Analyst, Certified in Organizational Behavior Management.

With over 19 years of experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Special & Inclusive Education, Mahmoud A. Mahmoud brings global expertise and deep dedication to transforming the lives of individuals of determination. At Sanad Village, he oversees the entire ABA program—providing strategic direction, clinical oversight, and hands-on mentorship for both students and staff involved in behavior therapy.

Mahmoud has trained and supervised more than 200 behavior analysts and participated as a guest speaker in over 100 international scientific forums. He has co-chaired and chaired regional ABA conferences—including independently chairing a major ABA conference in 2024. He is a founding member of the Behavior Analysts Arabic Board and formerly represented Africa on the QABA Board’s International Standards Committee (2019–2024). His work has also contributed to Dubai’s 2027 vision for facilitated tourism.

He holds certifications in ADOS-2, Arabic Sign Language (Level 2), CALM-P and CALM-V protocols, and Basic Life Support.

Fun fact: When he’s not leading teams or speaking at conferences, you’ll likely find Mahmoud diving into the deep blue—literally. He’s an Advanced Open Water Diver who swaps data charts for coral reefs whenever he gets the chance.

Leysana Zarmukhambetova

Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Auditing. Leysana Zarmukhambetova is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sanad Village—and a proud mother of two. Her journey into the world of special needs support began as a parent navigating the challenges of finding the right care and therapies for her son, Omar, who was diagnosed at a young age.

After years of moving from one center to another, the idea for Sanad was born out of a deeply personal need and a family decision—to create a centralized, supportive hub where all services could exist under one roof. That vision became Sanad Village: a place where families no longer feel alone in their search for high-quality, integrated support.

With a professional background in accounting, financial analysis, and auditing, Leysana brings both business acumen and lived experience to her role. She oversees day-to-day operations, ensures alignment between clinical care and family experience, and is often the first to welcome new families into the Sanad community with empathy and understanding.

Fun fact: Her son was the very first student enrolled at Sanad. She has always believed that with kindness and faith, miracles are possible.
